How to Help Kate
Kate Callahan is listed at UCSF TRANSPLANT CENTER. There are two ways to start the evaluation process to see if you are a potential match for Kate. Remember, you will not have any expenses with this process. You can click on this link to an online questionnaire, provided by UCSF. You will need Kate’s full name, Kate Callahan, and date of birth, 11/05/1997.

All information will go directly to UCSF. Medical information cannot be shared directly with Kate or her family at any point in the process. Upon completing the questionnaire, you will get an automated response from the system informing you if you are eligible to move forward with the donor evaluation process.

I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing and as a Registered Nurse (RN).
The initial testing that is required to become a donor can all be done locally where you live. Once you fill out the online questionnaire, you will be contacted, and given this information. There is no need to travel to UCSF until you are much further in the process. Kate & her family will cover all of your expenses such as travel, lodging, and lost wages when you reach this point in the process.
​You will then be assigned a nurse coordinator who will responsible for helping you to schedule additional testing and providing information about the donation process. ​
